Born in Granville, Ohio, David attended Columbus College of Art and Design before moving to New York City. His work as an After Effects Artist and Video Editor can be seen in both traditional broadcast venues as well as the digital realm. Working in various industries he has become a multi-disciplined filmmaker with an emphasis in editing and motion graphics while also maintaining a professional interest in writing and directing. David wrote, directed, and edited his first feature film, “Anatomy of the Lonely” in 2010. He is currently in development on several projects; An animated series about a group of teachers who become reluctant superheroes and save the world on nights and weekends… all without any extra pay. He’s recently completed a feature Horror/Thriller script entitled Apocrypha. Most recently he wrapped the visual effects on a vampire short film Peanut Butter & Jelly, which will be premiere as an Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival 2013 in April. There is also a couple of web series he’d like to make if he can find the funding or appropriate product integration.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Courtney, kids - Eleanor & Henry, and a 100 lbs Chocolate Lab named, Garp.
