The life of a Chef is a never-ending struggle. Every plate is a battle, every night a war. It’s a delicate balance of skill, performance, and endurance to maintain equilibrium. To create a successful and thriving business in the restaurant industry is a great achievement but to do so on the biggest stage in the world in New York City is a triumph.
The ambition of this documentary is to capture the whole process as Guenter strips down a location to its raw space and builds his restaurant from scratch. We follow him as he develops new relationships, sources new produce and livestock, as we examine the origin of the Farm to Table movement and Guenter’s contribution to modern culinary culture.
